How a page gets written

Research starts with the primary document — the regulation, the operator’s own terms, the published tariff — and only then with what other sites have written about it. Secondary sources are used to find the primary one, not to replace it.

What this desk does not claim

This desk is not a licensed adviser of any kind. Where a decision carries legal, financial or medical weight, the page says to take it to someone who is. You will not find degrees, years of service or licence numbers on this page. Those are verifiable facts or they are decoration, and we are not willing to publish them as decoration.

Sources and corrections

Figures and rules published here are taken from the operator or the responsible authority. When we have not been able to confirm something, the page says it is unconfirmed instead of rounding it into a fact. If you find something on this site that is wrong or out of date, tell us and it will be corrected on the page rather than quietly deleted.
